Sounds like fun at the scarecrow festival. My sister and I went on the Spoon River Drive last Sunday and it was a lot of fun. Lots of flea market and craft stuff. Lots of good food also. This Sunday my sister and I have tickets to the local cemetary walk. I have never been on one of those be...

I would love to go camping this weekend. The weather here is beautiful. I probably won't go though. We have been working Saturday's and it is hard to turn down the overtime. I really would like one more weekend though before I need to winterize. I usually can wait until mid to late November ...

My motorhome is a front end gasser so it has the big motor hump between the drivers and passengers seat. If you replace the carpet with some other flooring choice what do you do with this "hump"? Do you just put carpet back on that part? I had not thought about it before.

Oh boy. It will eventually dry up and not smell but everytime it rains or gets damp out you will be able to smell it. At least for a while. Did it spill on the carpet? On the seat? I would try spraying it with a carpet cleaner. One that is a spray liquid, not a foam and let it saturate it....

Oh wouldn't it be nice to be camping right now. No AC running all the time, a campfire burning, open windows at night. Oh well. I am looking forward to being able to go camping whenever I want in about 3 years. Right now we are heavy into corn harvest. I have been putting in overtime hours a...

Title: Re: Noodling

When I was a kid my Dad and sisters would go to a small creek a few miles from home (Mom would go too but she would not get in the water). We would go in the evening before it got dark and we would set out bank lines. We would walk in the creek and then stick the baited poles in the side of the...

Title: Noodling

Has anyone seen the show on TV that takes place in Oklahoma that takes people out and teaches them to noodle catfish? It was on the other day and I loved watching it. There is no way I would stick my hand or leg into a hole under water though. We have always called it hogging here in my neck o...

I would love to go to Yellowstone with my MH some time but I am really afraid of bears. I have read too many horror stories of people getting attacked and killed. A big old grizzly could rip into a MH quicker than a hot knife through butter. Or at least that is what my mind tells me. I love t...

Title: Re: Spiders

Yikes! Not fond of spiders. I have never had a solution for them. For the last three mornings I have had to fish a spider out of my bathtub before I take a shower. When our weather starts cooling down they move in. I once worked in the wheat fields and they were always thick with granddaddy ...
