One of the first things we did when we bought the motorhome was to buy one of the maps that show where we had traveled. When we started from Virginia, that was the only state on the map. It took 3 years to go around 3 times and map all the locations.

One of the things I thought of early was to use the little stars that came with the map to mark the actual location in the states where we actually stayed. About half way around the United states I noticed I was running out of stars and I needed to get some more before we moved on. There is no way you can remember all the places and things you do while traveling so many states so fast. I ran into another camper in the campground and we were talking about my predicament and he said, hey, I have one of those maps on my RV and I don't use the stars, do you want them. He provided me with enough to finish the journey.

Susie kept a journal of the entire trip day by day and many times we refer back to it to remember details of the trip.

Here are our travels. I added all the Islands around the US and added in Mexico at the bottom. I had the Canadian Provinces on the top but eventually the weather did them in so I removed them.

I am sure many of you have maps on your RV and this would be the perfect place to post them so your friends could see your individual journeys.

Those at the top of the map are Victoria, Canada and Yarmouth,Nova Scotia. around the edges include Outter Banks, NC, Oakroke Is., NC, St. Simond, Jekyll Islands, Ga., Dolphin Island,Ala., The Keys, and North and South Padre Is.

WoW, What a ride
