We are getting ready for the Kentucky Derby and are leaving Thursday, thru a waypoint in Atlanta. Notice how quick you pick up the language.
I have 3 vehicles I plan to use it in and worked on all the mounts today.
This is a Garmin Quest mounted in a Lincoln Town Car using the provided suction cup mount.
Very easy to see.

As you can see, the screen is plenty bright and easy to read.

When you push the page button you get all the trip info real time. You have to remember to reset the until for each trip.
Don't know why you would need it but notice the large digital speedo at the top.
Maybe I could use it like Norm and take it on a plane with me and check out how fast the jet can go.

Here's an upcoming trip to the Derby.
Notice how you get the total time it will take and also the amount of miles. This is a handy feature because you can load several routes and check for time and distance.

The Lincoln has an extra power outlet under the dash which is conveinent, so you don't have to have the ash tray open to power the unit.
The speaker and volumn control is in the power connector end.
Good thing. The ash tray opened gets in Paris's way.

This is where I decided to locate it in the motorhome.
I tried it on the dash but the cabinets above blocked the satellite acquisition. It worked great on the side window.
If I had put it on the windshield it would have been too far away.

Fits nice on the bug dash.

I had already installed a 12 volt outlet in the bug while we were in Mexico Beach, Fl.
I used it to power our portable 12 volt air compressor.
Later I up graded the motorhome to a 110 volt portable compressor because it's pump up time is a lot faster for the large motorhome tires.

In the last couple of years we upgraded to a new Garman. It is touch screen and has the traffic monitor lifetime for free. It's a lot nicer than the beginner Quest Garman. No more loading maps, but for 200 dollars in the old days the Quest was just fine. Things are always changing = Spending more money.
