Susie got a call the other day from the Association Of Retarded Citizens asking if she would be willing to donate a painted chair, for an upcoming auction fundraiser.
They indicated 65 artists would participate.
All the finished chairs will be presented at a dinner/cocktail event, with paid admission and a auction of the chairs with all proceeds going to the ARC.
It took us a while to find the right one but we finally did. It's called the Florida Chair.
The front legs having the tangerine,pineapple,lime, look really made it unique.
When we delivered it, there were already 7 chairs there completed.
We got a call yesterday and they are using Susie's chair for the poster chair in there advertisement. When I get a copy of the poster I will attach it to this post.
The auction is on April 7, 2006 In Daytona Beach,Fl. If you are in town, you are invited.
