This is the big one. Many times we have been asked where is your favorite place you have traveled.In the past we have hesitated to say, because each area you are in has something unique to offer.
Now that we look back, probably Brice Canyon, Utah was the most unbelievable site we had ever seen. Niagara Falls, NY was next. Venice, Italy has moved to number one. It was better than we had imagined. Everyone said it was dirty, it smelled, there was very little to do. They were all wrong. Which brings up another point. It's nice to get peoples opinions but don't plan your itinerary on what they say, because people have different tastes in what they like. We have talked to many people traveling who didn't like certain area's for what ever reason and didn't recommend going there. We would go there and have a great time. If you are interested in an area you should go there and live it for yourself, then you will be prepared to defend what you liked about the area.
This is going to be a lot of pictures. I have whittled it down to half of what we took. I am going to do the first part with some captions and do the last part with general scenery. I will put the map and attractions at the end, so you can study it after looking at the pictures if you wish.
This was the top spot of our trip to Europe.
