Thanks to helpers from this board, I'll try to share some pics from our first trip in our rv. We've been to Utah several times, particuarly to Moab. However, this is the first time with older teenagers. I tried to include more photos, but somehow lost the URL from tinypic.com for some of them.
This is Navajo Arch just off the main trail on the way to Landscape Arch. Well worth the extra walk.

We took a canyoneering trip where our guide led us to a 90' rappell into a slot canyon, then to a 145' free rappell off of a natural bridge into Negro Bill Canyon. It was a 2 mile hike out to the pick up vehicle. http://tinypic.com/6qi9ah.jpg
We did some biking on the Slickrock trail. This was my clue that I'm in over my head when riding with 16 year olds. They have no fear ( common sense?).

The boys weren't too happy to get dragged out of the rv to drive down to the Needles district of Canyonland National Park to hike to Druid Arch. It was HOT! An 11 mile round trip hike in about 5 hours. The trip out was much faster as the boys were only thinking about jumping into the pool.

Here's a sample of the "Needles" we saw on the long hike.

If these photos come through, I'll try to add 2-3 more later. It was a great trip to a fantastic part of the country. This message was edited by leadhead on 7-4-05 @ 8:32 PM
