This is a campground in Palm springs. We stayed there for a month when traveling. It's a coast to coast park. We couldn't get into Desert Hot Springs, which we were looking forward to. We have more pictures of palm springs, but I am still experimenting with printers and scanners. More will follow later.
I loaded a new HP system yesterday, did not do anything like I wanted it to, so I took it out. I am working with a new Lexmark, All In One now to see if I like the way it works and displays.
There is a good story at this campground. They played a lot of games at the club house. The night we were there for all the pizza you could eat, afterwards they had a Roadrunner race. They had a track with four roadrunners at the start. They rolled two big rubber dice one blue and one red. One had 4 numbers on it, one to four for the birds, and the other had the standard 6 numbers on it for how many spaces you could jump. You bet on birds one to four and who ever finished first, you split the money with who had the common bets. When I went up and brought the bet tickets, a few for me and a few for my wife, Susie, I didn't keep track of who's were who's.
The race was hot and heavy and I ended up winning. When I went up to collect my money the lady who sold the tickets to me said I could not collect the winnings because they were my wife's tickets and if I wanted to be paid I'd have to send her up. How's that for a sharp campground lady? We had a great time. I think the pot was worth $ 4.25.

When we first came over the mountains and saw the windmills, it was awesome.
A picture never really shows how it really looks in person but if you hvae never seen it, it's a good subsitute.

Here we were checking out the downtown area.
I am in the process of setting up my new printer and scanner.
Picture one of the campground is full screen.
Picture two of the windmills is a little short on the sides.
Most people have to scroll left to see the full picture such as the first.
Which format do you like?? One or Two?

It was February when we were there. Winter time but warm. Until we found the tram.

We took the trip up and found snow. Who would know this?

Check it out.

Susie at the top. It was cold in the high elevation, even in Palm Springs.
