We just took a trip to Hilton Head to visit our timeshares which had just gone thru their first refurbishment. We bought them in the early 90's and even used them when we were fultiming.
This is a nice area if you like tennis and gold, ops I mean golfing, or you just like a tourist shopping area with lots of shops and restaurants. I had a Freudian Slip because it is a little stuffy and pricey but fun and different. The area has been kept to it natural state even with all the growth. The buildings are all set back off the roads, no Neon or Signs in view. Just Island atmosphere.
We took a day trip and went to Savanna,Ga which is 35 miles away by water on the ICW. I'll take you down the water way on the next post.
There are places to RV on the island and if you have never been there it's definitely worth the trip to see it.
Our Timeshare Units are called Marriott's Sunset Point and from this first picture you will see why.
