There were a couple of campgrounds in this area but they all were closed. It's a popular area in the summer.
I sent this picture of the gold bear on the bridge to a lot of my friends, saying I still had it. Everything I touched turned to gold. In those day we were traveling fultime in the motorhome paid for, fully invested in the stock market, and couldn't spend as much money as we were adding to our accounts monthly. Those were the days.
As they say all good things must come to an end and they did. Y2K put the hurting on a lot of us.
3 years on the road fultime in those days was the American dream and we lived it to the fullest.
We still enjoy the RV but it just not the same. In those days everyday was a new adventure.
