This was a fun town. It was the host for the Worlds Fair in the 80's and there was a lot of residue entertainment left in the town.
If you think everything in Texas is big, look at this.

There was a line of runners made of metal along the sidewalks and of course Susie had to get in on the action.

John - We're a family of competitive runners and know good form when we see it. Susie's form looks pretty good, so how many times did she have to run down that sidewalk before you were able to click the camera at the right time? We were waiting around Lacy, Washington to have our Harley motor replaced. It blew up on the way to Nez Pez, Idaho.

While there we were staying with friends who lived there and knew the area well. They took us on a tour of Mt Rainer.

While waiting for the motor to come back from the factory we took a tour up on the 101 loop for 3 weeks.

John, my nephew lives in Spokane, and we were up there four years ago for his high school graduation - the first and only time (so far) we've been there. I've got photos of the wagon, rocker, and the runners, with me running along just like Susie. What a hoot...!!

I found one of the pictures - I thought I'd lost it! Of course, my form isn't nearly as good as Susie's, nor anywhere close to as photogenic!!
