Let's do some East Coast. When we first started fulltiming, one of the first things on the list was to do the Laconia Harley rally. Some friends from Va Beach had a cabin on Lake Winneposaki( not sure of that spelling) in Wolfesboro and decided to come up and meet us. The campgrounds are beautiful in N.H. but hard on automatic satellites because of the trees. By the time we got to Maine we had to give in and get a tripod. Came in real handy in the east. Check this one out.

We were very inexperienced in driving the new RV because we had never had one before. When we got to the lake, it was in a fancy smancy neighbor hood. The cabin was about a quarter mile in the woods on a narrow winding road. I told my friend I thought we might better leave the RV out on the road. There was a turn around maybe 50 yards up the road. While we were surveying the road to the cabin and trying to make a decision, a neighborhood group was forming, which we didn't know but decided quickly we couldn't get the RV all the way to the cabin. I was for leaving it on the street. When we arrived back at the RV, they pounced on us and said YOU CANNOT LEAVE THAT THING THERE.!!! I said welcome to the neighbor hood.
We made a quick decision to go in a far as we could. We had a set of two way head phones at the time and Susie walked and watched the front while guideing me and my friends watched the back. Knowing all the time I was going to have to back this big thing out of there. This picture says it all. This was as far as we could get. A week later we made it out without a scratch, acting kinda of proud.

This is where we were trying to get. It would have been great if we could have gotten the MH down in the circle but the trees were too tight.

Here we were cleaning up the bikes. The weather was rainy all week.

I learned a good lesson that week. I normally wear a 32 length on my jeans. When I rode the bike that week in the rain my pants leg would pull up above my boots. by the time I got home my boots were physically full of water. From that day on I started buying 34 length pants and have never had the problem since. I have been wet but my boots stay dry.

Our friends drove up friday after work and stayed in the MH with us until we could find the cabin the next day.

We didn't have much time to sleep anyway. We stayed up until 5:30 in the morning outside with all the other campers.

Now days we would be in bed by 9:00 at night.

This little dog came to visit us in the campground. It must have been a vision of Paris in the future.
