This is quite an unusual story relating to lifestyles and changes one makes when the conditions are right.

We have friends in our neighbor hood that have lived overseas in the past and still have family in England. Our friend John, he is from England originally, and was telling us about his sister in law buying a boat and living on it. I knew this would be something that RVers would enjoy hearing about, so I asked a lot of questions and asked for pictures.

His brother passed away about 3 years ago. He and his wife were from Dubai. From John's description of his character and life style he was quite industrious. In his day there were Ferrari's and Rolex's which is an expensive lifestyle in any country.

His wife relocated to France and became a house manager for some wealthy people. Even though this was a secure lifestyle , she had the desire to return to England. Which brings us to the real story.

At 74 years old she had always been facinated with living on a boat. Doesn't surprise me a bit knowing she was used to the fast living of her past husband. It would only be natural for her to have some rebellion in her. She saw this ad in the local paper and now the dream is reality.

I wish these pictures were separated, but it's the way I received them.

Having had an RV with slides, I think the boat makers might need to start thinking about this option as it looks a little tight.

Here she is all hooked up. Water and power just like an RV. I didn't get the feed back on sewer hookups but I am sure they have it.

Check out the working wood stove.
