Hey at least we know a couple of RVer's that haven't given up the dream.

Gary and Jan stopped by for a visit on their way to 3 Worlds in Orlando from up north in Maryland.

To show you how things are changing because of fuel prices, they now leave their 5th wheel parked on their site 365 days a year. They drive a small SUV on the trip down which gets great fuel mileage and spend a couple of nights on the road in motels or what ever comes up. They bought a new smaller trailer which they can pull with a smaller truck, and do their traveling and running around with it at home.

We talked about a lot of the older guys who were on this site in the late nineties. A few have passed on and others have drifted off to other interests. Those were the years and they will be hard to duplicate.

This site was the place to come for RV knowledge. We all learned together and no one ever made someone feel incure about their knowledge or lack of experience.

Anyway, it was good of them to stop by and reminese old times and once in the RV family your are never alone.

They met Paris for the first time and said they felt like they grew up with her. She will be six next month.
