We were very inexperienced in driving the new RV because we had never had one before. When we got to the lake, it was in a fancy smancy neighbor hood. The cabin was about a quarter mile in the woods on a narrow winding road. I told my friend I thought we might better leave the RV out on the road. There was a turn around maybe 50 yards up the road. While we were surveying the road to the cabin and trying to make a decision, a neighborhood group was forming, which we didn't know but decided quickly we couldn't get the RV all the way to the cabin. I was for leaving it on the street. When we arrived back at the RV, they pounced on us and said YOU CANNOT LEAVE THAT THING THERE.!!!
I said welcome to the neighbor hood.
We made a quick decision to go in a far as we could. We had a set of two way head phones at the time and Susie walked and watched the front while guideing me and my friends watched the back. Knowing all the time I was going to have to back this big thing out of there.
This picture says it all. This was as far as we could get. A week later we made it out without a scratch, acting kinda of proud.
