Here are some shots from one of our favorite camps in the national forest in western NM. THis is Head of the Ditch. The stream is part of the San Francisco River and many years ago a ditch was dug to send water to a group of sheep herders at what is now Luna, NM about 4 miles away. The campground is never crowded and so pretty with huge pondorosa pine.
