Well we finally made it back home. Plenty tired after all the visiting and party's. Didn't realize RVing was so hard.
Only had one problem. Gas hot water quit working. Due to limited power we could not use our electric. Found the problem. Pin 4, which opened the gas valve had corroded. Cleaned it, sprayed it with WD 40 working again. We brought a manual from Trailer Life when we first started fultiming which covered most of the troubles you would likely incur while traveling and the usual fixes. It led us right to the trouble.
We took some of the Guys and Gals on a ride to the Eastern Shore and crossed the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel. 17.5 miles across the bay. When we got to the other side we stopped to get a picture. I figured it would be a little closer, but here it is.

We rode to Cape Charles ,Va where I grew up. There has been no developement there for 50 years. It has finally started. There used to be a old run down Marina, called Kings Creek with a old golf course near by. They closed the old course and built a new one and are now developing the Marina. The deveopler brought all the land around the Plantation Creek. Maybe 10 square miles. It's really going to be nice, and big. It will really change the Shore.

We always stop at the old Magotha Bay and take pictures. When I was a kid, this was a working fish house. We use to fish off the docks and crab almost daily in the summer. Over the years it has fallen apart, so there is not much to see.
Our best friend Jerry just brought this new Chopper. His wife Kay, standing next to Susie in the white shirt, sells real estate in the new developement I was just talking about. He must be planning on her making some BIG sales.

Our last stop is usually the Tiki Bar which is behind a large Motel on a private beach. They have an awesome campground there, in the 20 dollar range. It includes use of the beach, and they have food and a bar right on the beach. It's located on Rt. 13 on the Virgina side of the bay only two miles from the Bridge Tunnel. Real easy to find. You owe it to yourself to try it out, you won't be disappointed. Cape Charles is near by, so you can go see the new development. Ask for Kay Shell and tell her you saw her on the RV America Site. Chincoteague island is only 90 miles up the shore. That's where they have to annual pony swim. Assateague Island it only 5 miles from there. Is there enough time to see it all?

We always cross the Bay Bridge Tunnel on the way over to the shore. This is a 17.6 mile long span of two tunnels and bridge system which connects Va Beach/Norfolk to the Eastern Shore of Va.

We took a break right after we crossed the tunnel to have a look around on the other side.
