This is where we lived when we decided to go fultime. It needed painting but it was right on the beach.
We owned the top two floors and the garage area in the bottom.
Big Bad John & Runaround Sue
We had it painted around 6 months after we lived there. This picture was around 3 months before we sold it to go on the road.
We used to walk the beach everyday. We had a lot of beach on low tide, but when the north easters would come in that was another story.
Remember this view !!!!!!!!!!!!!.
I built this jet ski lift when we first moved in. You could roll a set of Roll Ease wheels under the ski and just roll it to the water. I had electric wenches to lift it up and down and later used the same wenche to pull the steps up and down, so they wouldn't wash away during storms.
This is why you had to pull the steps up when the storms came in. This was a back to back northeaster and almost came over the bulk head. This was two months before we left. We had already sold the condo and I was afraid the buyer might back out.
We lost the jet ski to the sea in this storm. We always thought that the sea would one day win the battle. We enjoyed it while we were there but were relieved to sell it. We had to have four kinds of insurance.
