While driving to this area we ran across these beautiful fields. We were stopped on the road, picking some to add to our scrap book and a guy stopped and asked if we were having trouble. He told us it was Canola, like they make the oil from. Wonder how many buds it takes to make a quart?
By the way, if you noticed my pictures have been going off the scale a little recently, it was because we brought a new scanner. I changed the imagine setting tonight so hopefully they will fit better so you don't have to move around. So much for your excercise.

I see I didn't fix the problem. I'll keep working on it.
This was a scene coming into town. The area was ok, but not anything we would write home about. It's hard to get access to the lake and crowded.

Here's another shot of the lake in the downtown area.

This was an interesting RV Park. All the rigs parked along each side the road, with the hook ups being near the road shoulder.
The week we were there they had a Chevy Nomad meet in town and there were more old Chevy Nomad Station Wagons than you could imagine.
Also we kept hearing loud motors during the week, so we drove around and found a local circle race track nearby. We talked to the owners and they said bring the rig Saturday night and stay on the grounds after the race. When we got there and they saw the Rig, Bug, and Harley they said bring that Bad Boy up to the VIP Area right by the fence. They enjoyed telling all their friends about our adventures and checked out the equipment.
We met some vintage racers from Canada in their RV pulling his race car and he did real good that night. A few months later we were in Canada and darned if we didn't run into them again at another track. Coming out of Canada we went thru Grand Forks N. Dakota and did a few Sprint Outlaw races. Some of the race tracks had hookups. Susie was real glad when we left racing country. She was a little bored with the noise, dirt, and around and around.
