Putting a direct-loading link from this site to a picture on another site is called "hot linking".
Some websites (siteA) prevent other websites(SiteB) from hot linking photos stored on their site(SiteA).
In other words, if a picture is on a website called wahoo.com, and a page on RVforums.com links to one of that picture, the website owner of wahoo.com can prevent that image from being transmitted.
A reason that a website owner might block "hot linking" is that you are using THEIR bandwidth without actually seeing anything (like ads) on their site.
I run a couple of websites, and I am charged for bandwidth, that is, I am charged for the amount of information that is transmitted from my site to a person's browser.
explain the problem that some of you are experiencing, especially using the free website services.
