Butch...your photos are still not showing...just a little corner box with an "x" in it, which indicates that there should be a photo there somewhere. I finally figured it out today. You can only show a photo that is already posted on a website. If you use MSN there is a location on their homepage called "my photos" where you can post them, then use that URL address to show them here. It is a mystery to me why we should have to go thru all those steps to complete a simple operation.....but, whadda I Know?! Regards...Hal

Hal, Thanks. This pix is on the Yahoo, geocities web site with that URL. It always comes up for me. But others cannot see it. I can't explain that. If one right clicks on the red X then copies the address out of the properties, then paste this in the address bar, it also comes up in the forum. Or at least I have been told... Hi Butch, I'm cirtainly no web expert, but it sounds like your pictures are not actually posted to the geo cities web site. You can see them because they are on your computer, but others can't. You might try a FTP program to see exactly what's on your web site. There are lots of free ones out there. Cute FTP or FTP explorer are a couple. Just do a web search for FTP.(FTP is file transfer protocal) Just in case some one wanted to know. Just a thought. Take Care Steve

Thanks, I have pics stored on four different sites. I just had to find the one that worked. Can't explain why this is so tempermental. I am certainly no computer Gee Whiz....In fact, Dave P. had to send me pictures on how to use the last BB. ;p Happy Motoring, Butch Nancy Lake, Alaska

Butch...I noticed when I right clicked on the "x", then properties, that you may be using the box labelled "insert hyperlink" instead of "insert image". If you are, retry one of them using the "image" box. yours is one good looking MH...a testimony to travelling the Alaskan Hwy without all the damage we hear about. We weren't able to join our travel buddies to Alaska (they're retired), and they're sending frequent emails (with pictures) that just make me green with envy. We did get a FedX package of smoked salmon yesterday (that helps!). Regards...Hal

Hal Thanks, I don't know what the problem seems to be. I manually typed in the last one. All have been for the image box. Gotta be "gremlins" :quest: . We try to take pretty good care of the MH's. This one will have made 5 round trips when we get outside this Fall and has made the Klondike loop once. We tend to take it where we want to go but try not to abuse it. I hear alot of horror stories which are just that, stories. In our 37 years of driving the Alcan, we have yet to come across this boulder field everyone speaks of. We drove the Cassiar within the first month it was connected and opened to the public and it was indeed a "trail" and there were a couple of "pasture creeks" to ford which added a little character, but was very usable. We never tire of the trip and find it different each time. Try it sometime, I'm sure you will probably like it... :) Happy Motoring, Butch Nancy Lake, Alaska
