The picture above is from Picasa. The one below is from Photobucket.

This one is from Shutterfly.

Okay ...

You open whatever online photo album you use, find the picture you want to post, click on the picture so you're in "edit" mode. Then right-click on the picture and choose "copy". Go back to the posting box in the Forum, right-click and choose "paste". The picture shows up. I did it the EXACT same way on all three sites.

Congratulations, you're 3 for 3. Unfortunately, that doesn't mean all these archive sites will coordinate with ours tomorrow. When sites experience heavy traffic, or a particular ISP gets busy, the coordination between sites frequently breaks down, and that's something we can't control. The ideal situation would be if the pictures could be uploaded directly to our server, but that's a project that's probably well into the future. For those not familiar with how it works, here's what happens. Every time you attempt to access a thread or posting with a photo that's archived on another site, our server attempts to access that site, retrieve the picture, and add it to the text stored on our server. If the retrieval process has problems, you end up seeing a box with a red "x" where the picture should be. Good luck.
