There has been a request for a list of online abbreviaitons for the chat room for those who are unfamiliar with internet speak. Here is a short list of the most common:
brb= be right back hb= hurry back wb= welcome back ty= thank you yw= you're welcome ttfn= ta ta for now tmi= too much information! lol= lauging out loud rofl= rolling on the floor laughing roflmbo= rolling on the floor laughing my butt off dg= doppleganger (meaning two typed the same thought) lalalalala= I'm not listening ;) ______= A not so nice word that shouldn't be typed
A word on forum closure etiquette:

Sharon, I beg to differ on leaving - I prefer it when people make fast departures, and make saying goodbye unnecessary - and conversation can go on. And often, when someone is leaving, it's because something has come up - a phone call, someone visiting, etc - where waiting isn't an option.
Just my two cents - but for those who want to stay for their goodbyes, that's ok, too - just don't be upset with those of us who often "poof". --------------------------- Once your reputation is ruined, you can live life quite freely :) (old German saying)
