I was so looking forward to going into the new chat room, but it just didn't happen for me...Hello to everyone....I'll sort this problem out 'one way or the other' I'm gonna getcha!!! Gill I can't get in either. I get the message "error connecting to server, try again in a few minutes" Tried re booting, holding down the control key, and everything else I can think of. Such is life! "Don't believe everything you think"

I finally totally shut down my computer after copying down the "long" link address. Upon rebooting, it worked! ttfn, jd ....and Kanga, the 2003 Rialta

I had the same "error connecting" msg as susan-y, and tried RVDave's trouble-shooting, and found out it is a firewall problem. But after scrolling thru the firewall controls thru the Control Panel, I did not know how to create the TCP exceptions, so, contrary to my nature, I will be very "un-chatty".
