I tried the link to the chat room and got a message saying "This applet requires a newer version of Java(tm) please click the image below to download the latest software" But when I click the image nothing happens. A message at the top says popup blocked... Did anyone else have this happen? Redetotry

This website is asking to add ActiveX controls to my computer. I have been told this can be a security risk. Does anyone know the site well?

redetotry, I think if you click on that popup and allow temporary access, you'll be able to get where you want..
A Java chat website won't do damage to your computer.. and I'm trusting Sprinter to lead us to a website she's used for a long time on another chat... I KNOW she won't allow us to get into trouble..LOL Joella

Well me who some times can't chew gum & walk at the same time------ was able to read & type ------but very slowly------ everyone was very nice to me any way!!!!!!!! I had never done a chat room thing before----- It was fun!!!!!! Thanks Girls!!!!!!!! And thanks for making the newbie feel welcome!!!!!!! :) I'm cleverly disguised as a responsible adult!

Hi I thought this would be nice....a chat room but I have spent all morning trying the link and I have had the same problems as you girls. I think some one up there is telling me I chat enougn......I won't try any more. Calicogirl

If you're having troubles with java - don't have it or have a not current version - simply go to http://www.java.com/en/download/manual.jsp and download the proper java for your computer.
If you are afraid of active x - and that's the problem, then you won't be able to join us - it will NOT hurt your computer to run it here. --------------------------- Once your reputation is ruined, you can live life quite freely :) (old German saying)

I know I've done the Active-X thing lots of times and it's never caused a problem on my comp - don't fear the active-x (of course I don't actually know a thing about computers, but I know what works for me) Be the kind of person your dog thinks you are. Trudy, Molly and Murphy the cat

I have checked my computter and I have the latest Java and I also have actiive x but nothing is happening.......I have to stop this and rest my brain. CAlicogirl

Well this afternoon I was checking the web site to book mark it & found friends & we visited for a while so we had Kansas & Michigan & South Dakota taking to each other!!!!!! :)
