Sharon, here's the recipe I spoke of.
Salt, pepper and garlic powder, to taste
thin sliced onion and bell pepper
1/2 cup sliced mushrooms
2 T cooking oil (I use Canola)
Pour on some sweet cooking sherry.... or I use Mexico's cheap knock-off of Kahlua. The latest I used was called Sabrosa Coffee Flavored Liquore.
Sprinkle seasonings on the meat, and place in warmed skillet with cooking oil. Cover and cook slowly to cook all the way through, turning often.
When meat is about 3/4 done...add the onion, bell pepper, mushrooms and liquor. Cover again and continue cooking slowly until meat is done..
