I used a bag last night to steam Brussel sprouts. I did them 3 mins as I had to guess at the time because they weren't listed. They were a bit over cooked, but still tasty.
I emailed Glad about the dangers of using plastic for cooking and also if the bags could be rinsed out and reused. Here is their reply. Of course they had to add a disclaimer about reusing them because there will be someone that will get sick and want to sue.
