Just asked him and he said he harvested over 3000 pounds and there are still quite a few in the ground that are not going to get picked. Luckily not all of them have gone through our garage here in town. Many people did go out to the farm and pick their own...he's been bringing some in on and off since September..so I've been pawning off potatoes for a long time. Saturday we probably had over 400 pounds in the garage. This all started because he went to an auction and bought an antique potato planter and wanted to see how it worked. NOW he's looking for a potato digger....and his new nickname is Spud. Maybe I should try to find a recipe to make vodka....hear potatoes are used for that! dpf
