Plank cooking is also really good. You can get different type wood planks in specialty stores. Tilapia fish is very mild and when cooked on an applewood plank is wonderful. You have to soak the plank at least an hour before cooking on it. You can soak it in water or even white wine. The fish or what ever you are cooking takes on the woodsy flavor. Some of the cooking channels have awesome ideas. I get so tired of the usual array of menu items.

I quit using bouillon cubes several years ago as too high in sodium - switched to "Better than Bouillon" - which comes in several flavors and I like much better. I used to have to request that stores carry it - but now even the Walmart supercenters have it on their grocery shelves.
I use spices like crazy, but have cut down on the standards in the rv - put in a spice rack on my kitchen wall - and had to cut down my spices to fit it - but I'd never be without garlic powder - it goes in almost everything I cook (except when I use the refrigerated garlic) - I don't buy cloves anymore.
And I have to have my crushed red pepper.
Like others have said, experiment with some recipes - and find the spices you like - as with rv's - we all have different tastes :) --------------------------- Once your reputation is ruined, you can live life quite freely :) (old German saying)
