Not sure about the condensed milk thing that maybe southern but try tres Lechie Cake very south :)not sure where my recipe is but its the same principle poke hole dump a milk mixture in let soak it up yummy!!! but its three milk condensed, whole milk, possibly evaporated just can't remember look it up in allrecipes.com but spell it right I didn't :) sheila

By George I think you've got it! I'll try one or both of those recipes. Mine was too dry, I felt there should be more to it. I used to make a recipe call Hot Milk Cake. It was made with boiling milk.
