I'd never heard of Blue Bunny, either, so did an online search. Looks like these are the closest stores to us in California:

BTW, anyone ever had Umpqua ice cream? Wonderful stuff in Southern Oregon.

I found the Blue Bunny products about 3 years ago in Wal-Mart here in Ms. I can eat any of their flavors but that banana split is almost like the real thing only all mixed togeather. Don't dare buy the half gallon. I know I would eat it all in one sitting.

yup closest one is in Hemet, within 50 miles.
Maybe the Wal-Mart here in San Marcos will start to carry it. You all have my curiosity up. :)

we have blue bunny here in Utah yummy..and they have it in the midwest. what is the name of the ice cream made in Texas? read some raving reviews on it swore I ever get to Texas will have to try it can't remember it now. Do remember thinking when I first saw the blue bunny in Iowa that that was the texas brand but no it wasn't. Choc yogurt gonna have to look for it.. I like choc, cherry nut, burt almond really don't like artifical flavors love the real but not artifical strawberry or banana so don't normally try them.

Went to the Wallyworld in Hemet today, and yes, they had the Blue Bunny Banana Split, but it was sugarless. I don't do sugarless,(leaves a nasty taste in me mouth, ick!!) so bought Haagen-Daaz banana split instead since they didn't have the Mayan Chocolate. Pretty darn good!!!

I don't do sugarless ice cream, either. Figure if I'm going to be having the calories, might as well enjoy it. Finished up the Mayan chocolate and have Haagen Dasz lemon ice in the freezer. However, it's so cold up here at Boulder Oaks Campground this afternoon (hail mixed with rain) that I wish there was a Starbucks in the campground. A nice hot mocha with whipped cream sure sounds good right now.
