Wonder if you can substitute splenda for the sugar?

Paulette, do you use Splenda in oatmeal? I tried oatmeal with Sweet and Low in it yesterday, and while I like it in cold things...it is dreadful in hot dishes. Guess I'd have to get used to it...just left an aftertaste. But, when I first started drinking sugar free soda water...it had that same taste... Just what you get used to, I'm guessing..
I've never used Splenda.

I used to use Equal, but I like the Splenda much much better. I use it on Oatmeal, in my hot tea, and I have recently switched to the Splenda for Baking in my iced tea. Dad hasn't notice any different and you only use 1/2 as much as regular sugar. And the best part...NO AFTERTASTE! Try it.

Joella, is this like when someone goes to the Doctor with a broken hand and they ask him, "Doctor, Doctor, tell me, will I be able to play the violin when my hand heals." The doctor reply's "Of course you will. They reply, "Oh good, because I never could before!"

Nope Joella, I use splenda and I haven't grown long legs either....shucks!
I'm very allergic to sugar substitutes, Splenda is the only one I can have and there are no aftertaste.

Don't buy the ready made mix at the grocery store for Mojitos. It tasted like mouthwash.
