Crock Pot Cherry Cobbler

1 can (20 oz.) cherry pie filling 1 cup all-purpose flour 1/2 cup Splenda ( or sugar) 3 TB light margarine, melted 1/2 cup skim milk 1 tsp. baking powder 1/2 tsp. almond extract 1/4 tsp. salt DIRECTIONS:
Spray inside of 3 qt. Slow cooker with cooking spray. Pour pie filling into cooker. Beat remaining ingredients with spoon until smooth. Spread batter over pie filling. Cover and cook on HIGH 1 1/2 to 2 hrs. or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.

I bet you could also use Bisquick in place of the flour and baking powder.. have to try that next time.. Also could use Lite Cherry Pie Filling too ..cut back on amounts of sugar if needed..:)
But this came out very good .. served this with Yogurt Ice Cream ..! Hey have to be some what good :) Life is full of surprises, just go with the flow !

Donna, I can not tell a lie ;p My neice works for MicroSoft (one of their programmers) and when MSN started their net work online I hosted a cooking segment..alot of these Crock Pot recipes came from my time with wonderful gals all sharing ideas that we all put it together..as a trial and error.. and hence my library grew to over 300 Crock Pot recipes.. I enjoyed running their segment and still keep in touch with over 75 of the gals.. sometimes I wonder myself how in the world.. but you know, I've gotten to meet 45 of them and their families as I traveled across the USA 8 times..and even have lots of pictures of them as well.. We still send each other new recipes to try.... I'm so glad to share them with each and every one of you.. in hopes that you all can enjoy and also cut your time in the kitchen ...and still have good meals for your family..and if you make changes, I also pass them along as well... So with that I'm just pleased if I can help...That's just my nature..
God Bless
