I went to lunch today and ordered French Fries and Brown Gravy. My friend was aghast! I had it all the time in Upstate New York. It was on the menu there. Thank heavens I didn't also order a beer, a 7-Up and an empty glass as I often do. You pour the empty glass 3/4s full of beer and top it off with 7-Up. (Big Dave is throwing up) You can go into a pub in England and order a Shandy-Gaff and that's what you get. Any other weird and wonderful combinations out there? 1984 Class A Allegro Bogie the Pit (rescued) The road ahead is smooth. Why do you throw rocks before you?

I could do those, but I'm aghast when anyone puts ketchup on a hot dog! And I drink ginger ale or 7 up floats, not root beer floats.
These are pretty tame, but all my brain can think of right now. Smiling is contagious - try it!

It's French dressing on my French Fries. But what I really love is sweet potato fries (just a little salt) The drink that surprised me, beer and ice. But I think my Dad does the wierdest - mustard on home made dounuts! You never know what will temp people taste buds, but it makes you wonder if some people have any. There's that different drummer again. ;p going to travel CJ

I love brown gravy on FF! But I also like to dip them in ranch dressing. Or with lemon juice sprinkled on them, or with mustard and ketchup mixed. I can't eat pancakes without peanut butter, and DH used to eat PB and bologna sandwiches (yuck). I had bangers for breakfast the other morning, had read about them, so just had to try them, wow, really good! A float has to be made with rootbeer. Around here in Maryland they put vinegar on their fries too...but I kinda like mine just plain or with gravey. My daughter does ketchup and mayo mixed on hers! Paulette Maryland

I add vinegar to bbq sauce - cuz most of them are too sweet (IMO). And if I eat fries with my bbq, I use my mixed sauce that includes vinegar on my fries, too. Smiling is contagious - try it!

French fries were made to be covered in pepper! Of course you can dip one in ketchup but then in a pile of pepper...the more the merrier!
Beer n soda? Now I dunno bout that one. Will try most anything though. My taste buds are adventuresome!
