Mine never lasts long enough to go bad. It's liver, it's cooked, I guess as long as cold cuts would, dontcha think? I don't ration it too much as there is nothing bad in it. It really is just good tasting dog food, just not dehydrated. As usual I'm posting comments in inapropriate (sp) places, but I thought I'd let you know that my friends all wanted to know who the attractive lady was in the photos. Thanks - there's not smell but they're almost gone. I just needed to judge how much to make. She really loves it and when I open the frig she knows she's getting her favorite treat!

When you talk about liver treats now Sparkle, all I can see is you heading down the road at the campground trying to entice that poor unsuspecting guy with liver treats claiming it was for his dog!! LOL Groovin Grannie Fernie and Running Bear (Winnebago Warrior)

Hi Sparkle, I've bought liver treats in a container at PetSmart in Colorado. They're soft, last forever, and are STINKY. Our longhaired Chihuahua went nuts over them and learned her lessons well in puppy Kindergarten using them. Works well on husbands who like liver, too. heh heh

I don't eat meat so it's gag time when I pour the excess blood in the blender. Just shows how much I love that dog. The home made ones don't smell all that bad, but there is no taste testing in this house. (I just noticed you're from Colorado Springs. My son was stationed at the Air Force Academy. He just got out.
