Whenever we attend a party or BBQ and we need to bring something to share, I'm often asked to bring Beer Bread and my version of Tastefully Simple's Garlic Garlic dip. If you like garlic...you'll love this!
Beer Bread:
1-12 oz can or bottle beer
3-cups self-rising flour
3-tablespoons white sugar
In a large bowl mix together the sugar and flour. Add beer and continue to mix first using a wooden spoon then your hands. Batter will be sticky. Pour into a 9 X 5 inch greased loaf pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 50-60 minutes. The top will be crunchy. The sides will be soft. Serve topped with butter or cheese spread. Or, cut into one inch cubes and serve with dips. I slice the bread about an inch thick then cut in each slice into thirds, turn and into thirds again which gives you pieces of 1 inch cubes.
Snookie's Garlic Garlic:
1-cup mayonnaise
1-cup sour cream
1 tablespoon and teaspoon garlic powder
1-tablespoon and 1 teaspoon granulated garlic
Mix and chill for flavor to enhance
Make this and it will be the dish you are asked to bring all the time too,
