TAMALE SOUP 1 Medium can Ranch Style Chili Beans 1 Medium can Whole Kernel Corn 1 Medium can crushed or diced tomatoes ( Can use the Rotel if desired some spicy flavor) 1 Medium or large can of Beef Tamales 1 can Chicken or Beef Broth Small amount of Onion (Opt)about 1/4 to 1/2 cup chopped )if desired
In large pot put in chicken broth (or beef) add juice from corn and open tamales using the juices ,rinse the tamales to get all the flavor& oils from them and reserve the tamales for later. Add onion and tomato juice from tamales, beans and corn to pot. Place over medium heat till boiling. Reduce heat and simmer for about 30 to 40 minutes. Peel the paper wrapper from the tamales and slice in 1/4 to 1/2 inch slices, add to soup and simmer very gently to prevent the tamale slices from dissolving apart . Simmer for about 15 to 20 minutes. The tamales will float and make the soup interesting to look at and good to eat . Serve with your choice of crackers or tortilla chips.

Alice, I'd think like with most soups--- amounts don't matter. Just chunk in the left-overs, ingredients and kitchen sink and ENJOY!!
Happy Day!!

Glad you enjoyed it, Alice. With the ingredients being all canned, except for the onion, it's a neat and fast one for RVing and a quickie meal at the end of a busy day.
Have a wonderful day! Raining here and we NEED it!
