When we had a Bed & Breakfast------- I made our pancakes out of 7-up!!!!! I'll see if I can find a recipe! I always cook by dump-- & go-----& I just used 7-up instead of the liquid it called for!

Okay...I know this is off the subject but equal amounts of beer and Bisquick or pancake mix makes an superb batter when deep frying fish, onion rings or any veggie. We usually add a little Cajun seasoning too. dpf

Trudy, I usually use Bisquick and at the TN GTG, Margie had a bottle of bisquick that you just add water to and shake. It was so convenient and doesn't make a whole lot. You could make up the whole batch and freeze and then pop in a toaster for some other time. I liked it because after you open a big box of mix you have to transfer it to something else to keep the critters out. This jug of bisquick was just the bomb! Thanks Sheila - I remember my Mom putting water in the skillet to see if it's hot enough, that's a fun memory :D "If you don't know where you are going, you might wind up someplace else." Yogi Berra

Okay, I'm bad and don't much like to cook so I buy the waffles and pancakes that you heat in the microwave. They keep for a long time in the freezer and are wrapped in individul packages. I'm the microwave queen. I think the casserole recipe from you guys for crockpot chicken and stuffing was the first time I had cooked in a long time. I also like those roasts that come in the boxes (Hormel) in the meat department. A nice pork roast cooks in 7 minutes and even has gravy.
