1/2 cup light corn syrup 1-tsp. butter 1 cup sugar 1-tsp. vanilla 1 1/2 cups raw peanuts 1-tsp. soda
What to do
In a round 1-1/2 qt microwave- safe dish,combine syrup and sugar: stir until blended. Microwave on high (100) power 4 minutes.--Watch to make sure it doesn't brown Remove from microwave, add nuts, Microwave on high another 5 minutes (watch so it doesn,t go beyond light brown). Remove from oven. Add butter and vanilla, microwave 1 to 2 minutes on high. Remove from oven and add baking soda. stir well to combine. quickly pour onto lightly greased baking sheet and let cool. BREAK INTO SMALL PIECES
