Here's a cheese ball that would be quick and easy to make in an RV since it doesn't require a lot of work. Promise that it is yummy. It's my signature Christmas gift along with crackers to several of our neighbors....two years ago I decided to do something different and made fudge...they all wanted to know why I didn't make the cheese ball. So this year it was back to the cheese ball.
2- 8 ounce packages of cream cheese (regular, low or no fat) 1 cup of cottage cheese (regular, low or no fat) 1 package of Good Season's Italian or Zesty Italian dressing mix 2 tbsp sunflower nuts 2 tbsp chopped walnuts or pecans (I prefer pecans) 1 cup of chopped dried or pressed beef 2 tbsp of dried parsley
Mix together. Chill. Shape into 2-3 balls. Roll in a mix of 2 tbsp sunflower nuts, 2 tbsp chopped nuts and 2 tbsp dried parsely. Can freeze....but keeps well in the refrig. dpf
