I just found this forum and signed up today. Looks like a great place to meet others with similar interests. I am not new to Fulltime RVing though. We've been at it awhile and love it! I am looking forward to getting to know others in this forum.

Welcome Sharon, checked out your site.  Your rig is a rig and a half!  Always nice to get new blood on the forum.  I'm RV deficient at the moment by this is normally just a temporary thing :-) 30 degrees in Oregon this morning, hope it is warmer in Texas.  Sue

Hi Sue,

We moved from Portland, Oregon to Houston, Texas (job change) last November. We really miss Oregon!  Is that a Corona you're holding? My favorite!

Welcome !!  I'm so glad you joined us.

I've been a fulltimer since August and am finally getting into the groove - I travel in a 5th wheel with my dog Molly and cat Murphy.  I'm from Des Moines Iowa - I spent most of the winter on the Oregon coast, I just fell in love with the area !!!  I'm back in the Midwest for the summer then I don't know where I'll go !!

Hi, from another  PNW person.  I live in Battle Ground,WA.  If you lived in Portland I'm sure you know where that is. Yep, it was down right chilly here this AM but has warmed up nicely into the 60s.  I'm holding them to their forecast of 80 on Monday.  I'm so ready!!  Anyway, welcome to the forum.  Post often!

I'm still wishing for my first RV.  The economy knocked the snot out of my RV fund so I'm having to start over in saving up. ;-(

Sometimes, the only right answer is silence...which in and of itself speaks a thousand words.

Sharon (I have to brag a little) Yes that is a Corona BUT the story behind it...  My sister decided if she was going to turn 60 she wanted to do it in Hawaii.  So my partner, sis and I went to Kauai for 10 days in December. The picture is from Barking Sands, since I am retired military we could stay in the military cabins RIGHT ON THE BEACH :-)   Fresh limes in your Corona...warm weather (it rained almost every day but hey, its Kauai) could life be any better. Sigh....  Sue

Welcome Sharon!  I've spent the last 7 years in Bend - so another Oregoneon!  Now that I am venturing off to full-time in my Alpenlite I'll be spending my summer in Rogue River - for free - and will be heading off to South TX in October.  Welcome - we'll pick your brains I'm sure!

I loved Oregon. It really wasn't miserable rain like what you hear about. I think maybe Oregonians say that to keep the tourists away? :o)

Sounds Fantastic! Happy B-Day to your sis. I just turned 50 on the 15th of May. Didn't get to go anywhere cool like Hawaii though!
