Gosh, y'all are already great! I've been surfing all day looking for small RVs. I really like the A-liner to begin with. I'm looking for something used right now and hopefully in the South East US as I live in Alabama. My second brilliant idea, since I live in a double wide mobile home and I'm near Auburn University. I thought maybe I might find someone who would trade their motor home for my double wide. It would be a great place for married college kids. The price would be about equal to a nice used motor home. And I could start living in it even before I retire. There are lots of campgrounds around Auburn.
Again thanks for all the welcome notes. Its great to be in a group that's so nice to a totally unknown person.

I do have craigslist, I've looked in Birmingham, Atlanta, and other cities around Auburn. I found something that was perfect and the right price - but it was gone before I could even answer the note.
But I have 3 years until retirement so the only push is from me, wanting to get started at least on weekends.
I'll keep looking. I really like the little A-liner for right now. When I retire, I'll sell the house and get something bigger.

Hi Jean Saw your post of Women's Rv..Im new as well and still looking for an RV and getting educated by reading. Alot to learn..I would appreciate any info you receive..I posted in January and havent received any answers to date. Gosh, Judiann.... Seems we are having a terrible time in communication.... I hate that as we REALLY enjoy our newbies and strive to make them feel MOST welcome..
I see why one time we didn't answer----as your post was under a "test" area... That is an area for members to post and see if a photo is working....or if a website is correct... It is a "try out section"...where no one answers. I am sorry we missed you there.

I also see that you said you seldom check our RV Forum. You have to check back to get any answers to your questions. If you wish notification via e-mail that you have a reply, when you post----- under the "box" you type into for posting..there is an area that states: Notify me when someone replies, and you must put a checkmark in the box in front of that statement. I don't know if you did that.... I've never used that service, since I come to the Forum a couple of times daily because I enjoy it so much.
The gals on here are quite wonderful, friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful, so come on back. Ask questions. We will be most happy to help you. Again, I'm glad to have you join us. Enjoy your afternoon.
