Hi All, a friend and member of this forum shared the site and I just joined - my girlfriend and I have a 27 foot Damen Challenger - we bought it 3 years ago and have been trying to sell my house ever since. Well the Lord has blessed us with a buyer and we will be moving into the camper soon. Will stay local Punta Gorda FL and save money - they plan to start full time travel in March of 09. Nice to know there is a group of women out there living life to the fulliest and I look forward to making some new friends. What a great place to share life and adventures. Welcome Sue!! Glad to see it is all finally working out for you both. Sometimes, it seems we all have to be very patient, doesn't it? I am to begin full-timing in the new Year as I am working towards retirement. Do you have a sense of initial directions? I am just figuring all of that out myself....
jan I care very little about where I am going, so how can I be lost?

Hi Jan thanks for the welcome, we actually have kinda started a plan - March thru May we will be flying to Europe- I have family in Germany (my niece and her hubby and 3 kids have been there the past 3 years) we are planing on spending 2 months there then back into the camper and thinking about starting in the new england states - we have a wish list of parks and sights to see and that list is growing every day - I work at a store and my part time job is in a bar - so I meet lots of people and I have been talking this trip for a long time. thanks for the note back and keep in touch. :) Love, Sue

How wonderful you have sold the house, and your dreams are beginning to jell!
You will enjoy Europe. Germany is spectacular! Two months is an incredible length of time, but not nearly long enough to take in all there is to see.
Neat you have your bucket list of parks and sites in the New England states. I've only breezed through that area.. mostly on motorcycles. We saw a lot of places, worthy of extended time spent sightseeing.
Enjoy your new full-timing life!
