Brenda, I have a 5th wheel and love it. But have never hooked or unhooked it alone. My grandaughter and I went cross country from NM TO Washington DC so had help. On the way back she had to leave me and I traveled from Indiana back to NM no problem driving it pulls very easy. Have to watch for narrow no shoulder highways. When I stopped at night I simply jacked it up to take weight off pickup and did not unhook. This was only a couple of nights as I went by my brothers and had help. I have wanted to go back out but have been looking for someone to travel with me. Need help with driving and hookup0. Also found it is more fun when you have someone to share the sights with. Also be cheaper if you would share expenses. I have 32' with 3 slides and at present am living in 5th wheel. I put a trundle bed in living room and took couch out. (they are so cheaply made anyway) when grandaughter was with me as we kept different hours, liked different TV shows ect.It fits very well. Maybe we could get to know each other and you could join me and see how you like a 5th wheel. Would like to hear from you. Goodby MJB
