Hi Everyone,
Have been reading the Forum for a month or so now. Just purchased my first TT. It's a 1985 19' Wilderness. She's just like me, bit older, structurally sound and only needs a little cosmetic touches to take in public ;)
I am single, work full time, and will be taking this out by my lonesome. A little bit nervous but excited too.
I mainly purchased this to go to dog show sites (I show dogs). MUCH easier to stay at the show site than going to hotels.
I also want to, on off-show weekends, start traveling around the area exploring all the PNW has to offer. I also want to head up the Vancouver, BC. My dream trip is to go up to Alaska but that one may have to wait for a few years :)
I enjoy reading all of your posts and will keep on doing it. Learning a lot from you ladies!

Thank you! I currently show Pomeranians but formally Alaskan Malamutes. Have had seven spinal surgeries so needed to 'down size' as I could no longer care for big dogs. Poms are very similar in temperament to Mals, they can just be a wee bit more vocal, but are trainable to not be yappy. They have hearing that is second to none too! I know when someone even steps on my driveway. Can't pay for alarm systems that good!! :)

Joella just taught me how to put a photo to my signature and the two that you see are Kes (the Malamute) and Kaitlyn as a baby. This is my kennel logo photo.

I've been showing and working my guys in conformation, obedience, weight pull & backpacking since 1979. I work full time to feed my kids and get to the shows (and the little thing called a mortgage) :)
Having the TT and staying at show sites will be wonderful, do not know why I didn't do it YEARS ago!!
Of course, I also want to start exploring the PNW. We have some awesome places to see up here and I'm tired of just getting glimpses from the car window as I'm driving to the next show.
The Olympic Peninsula is simply breath taking and I've only seen it in the early morning, traveling to a show, or the PM when driving home. Time to stop and enjoy the view too. I can't wait! :)

I love the picture of Kaitlyn in the snow on your website. Welcome to the forum. I visited the Olympic Peninsula for the first time last summer. Beautiful! I explored tide pools on the north shore, walked trails in the Hoh Rain Forest, made my way over drift logs to the beach. it was all good. See you down the road, Liz and Roe (dog) '99 Roadtrek 170

Thanks Liz. She was pretty funny when the 'white stuff' started coming down. Wasn't sure if she should touch it or not :)
Living here is pretty cool. Right smack in the middle between the beach and the mountains. Just one hour each way.
One of the first places I want to go (about three hours north) is Olympic Nat'l Park and stay here http://www.visitsolduc.com/rv-camping.cfm
Then there is also the Columbia River (that is my 'back yard). Talk about breath-taking! Here is one of the parks that I will be going to this summer. Right in the middle of everything. http://www.oregonstateparks.org/park_146.php
I know some people think it's weird for a single woman to be traveling all over but I've done this since I was 18 and I think it's weird that they think it's weird (LOL)
