So, I've been reading for awhile now, the first username I put in wouldn't work, so, here I am, kywildcat243. I'm a single mom of an 18mth old son. Hopefully in the next year-year & 1/2 the 2 of us along with my mom will be setting out for a couple of years. Our plan is to stay 3-4 mths at a time per site and just travel the country. She's going to retire this winter from the education field, and while on the road I plan to work on my Masters via the internet in education. To earn a small living we are going to try and do school assemblies focused around 'no child left behind' standards. We'll also have some skits to work at libraries and plan to do work at the local churches for free.
So, glad to be a member, I'm looking forward to learning all I need to know from you ladies.

Welcome. I love these alternative alternative lifestyles. Your mom gets her retirement adventure, you and she get to travel the country with your little one AND you get to finish your education on the road.

Welcome and congratulations. Sounds like you have a lot worked out. It's great that you have such a wonderful relationship with your Mom that you can travel together and in close quarters. And your son will also get to grow close to his GM. Don't forget pics!!! carold

Welcome!!!! What a wonderful idea....Rv life with your Mom.....As a grammy of a 16mos. old granddaughter it will be fun for your Mom to have both of you with her.....can't wait to hear about your adventures and enjoy the ride here with us...
