If you plan to move often, then yes..Camping Clubs will help. Passport America has 1/2 priced rates, but it's for only a night or two. We are members, and we usually pay for our yearly membership the first trip out each year.
Camping Clubs may not help you much for what you are wanting to do. The cheapest rates possible are those monthly rates. If you are going to stay put somewhere and work locally, when you are a yearly, permanent renter that rates is even cheaper.
Any brand trailer will do for what you want. Our neighbor's son found one for $1,000. It is a 1988 model, but was well taken care of..and looked like new inside. Even came with all linens, dishes, pots pans..etc. for that price. That is a rare find, but they are out there if you have time to search.
He's put it in a mobile home park, near the Fireman's Academy where he's attending school to become a city Fireman. FAR cheaper than an apartment, plus he loves to hunt and fish, so if he has any spare time to enjoy those sports...have trailer will travel! :)
