Hey all. Found this forum and thought I'd gain some good information. I plan on being on the road full time by this time next year. Early retirement is looking mighty good. So by the time I unload the house, upgrade my truck and get my 5th wheel it will be Spring. I wondered if there were many full time women rv'ers. waki

My DH passed away almost 6 years ago, and I sold the house and all my furniture and moved into an RV and have been traveling ever since. I work at Campgrounds doing Reservations in the summer and play on the Beach in the Winter. Welcome to the Forum and the lifestyle!

Welcome,
I bought a Class C rv in March of 2005 when I was living in Wisconsin. I gave notice on my job in April, left it in June and have been full-time ever since. I turned 55 on the road last fall and hope to continue for the rest of my life :)
Yep, we single women can do this and many are. I workamp some summers, and have an internet business I have to run to afford to do this without using my retirement income which probably still isn't enough when I can "retire" LOL - but there's nothing I'd rather be doing. --------------------------- Once your reputation is ruined, you can live life quite freely :) (old German saying)

Welcome!!
We are down to less than 30 days now. I am getting a little freaked. But, when i am sleeping on the floor, and using borrowed dishes, I will be thrilled to get in the car and go get my RV. Danar- Of the North

Welcome Waki, I retired at 62. I sold my home and a condo that I was going to size down into. I bought a Class C Catalina Sport (22ft). I live alone so thats all the room I need. I have moved closer to my daughter and my grandchildren and have enjoyed them for the past year and a half. Its great living in a RV. I found a beautiful park that has RV space and mobile homes. There are many resident ducks that come to my door daily to be fed. The whole park is covered in massive old Oak Trees. You will enjoy this forum. OB44
