I have never been, but will be roughly 40 miles from there in July when I go to pick up my RV.
From what I do know it is a spring break location for college students and there is a large # of folks who go there to water ski and soak up the sun. I also know that it is going to be hotter than Hades when I go. It is a beautiful area that I do want to explore in a time when it is a more tempered climate (early spring/summer or late fall) Danar- Of the North

Hi Joyce... I have family in Lake Havasu. It is a nice little community. It has a mix of RVers and college kids. The college kids can get pretty wild on the lake. However, they seem to keep themselves pretty well away from the parks where the RVers stay. The community members seem to love their visitors and there is some fun touristy stuff to do, like the London Bridge.
It is hot in the summer. Upper 90's and 100's. Kim Wife to Randy, Mom to Elizabeth (20) and Megan (17)

I was there about 10 yrs ago in the early summer or late fall. The bridge was neat to see but other than that I wasn't that impressed. I believe Laughlin, NV is near with casinos that attracts most people.
Sometimes, the only right answer is silence...which in and of itself speaks a thousand words.
