This is such a great board, I am sorry it took me so long to get registered and post. I am retired, RETIRED from the American Red Cross. While working for them I travelled round the world but now its my time to see the USA, Canada and Mexico. I am married but often leave DH at home and travel alone as he has his thing and I have mine. LOL. I think what I will like most about this board is that I will beable to ask questions and not feel stupid

I'm so glad you have found us. No question is ever stupid here,... (or shouldn't be anywhere!) it's usually a question someone else has and is to nervous to ask. So ask away! We don't claim to have all the answers, but maybe we can point you in the right direction.
It's great that your hubby isn't heavy-handed about you taking off on your own once in a while.
I'll be watching to hear of your adventures and to see pictures.

Welcome Desertthorn, You'll find the forum here is nicer, I think all the gals here are great and I have met quite a few of them. I don't like being on the other forums because the guys can be a bit gruff. Here we laugh alot, share stories and really support each other making us all Sisters and we don't mind repeating ourselves if it has helped another Sister.
