30 days and counting! EXCITING!!
DH installed a piece of PVC under our RV, attached with brackets for storing the dirty sewer hose. Most RV's have a storage area, some in a hollow back bumper, but he didn't want ours IN a compartment of the trailer. The back end has a cap glued on it, and the front has a removable cap for insertion of the hose.
As far as RV toilet paper, it is expensive and we have used Scott's for years. It's written on the packaging that it is good for septic tanks and RV's.
We don't own tie downs for the awning. We've seen a very well secured awning torn loose and flipped up over the RV in a tangled mass of twisted metal, necessitating purchase of a new one. Winds can do strange things and it is simply safest to roll in the awning.
You will find electrical adapters, a good heavy duty extension cord and a good sewer hose handy. Usually, the one that comes with the RV is "thin".
